For years (1973 to 2007), we used the cabin as our personal retreat. As you can see in the "Before" photos, it was charming, but rustic. In August 2007, I began an extensive refurbishment to make the cabin as comfortable as possible, replacing all the old appliances, getting really comfy beds, a new 42" flat screen plasma TV, satellite internet and TV, etc. The list goes on and on. In December 2007, Chris' Cabin started to receive guests, and yet the improvements continue. I ask every guest who has stayed at our cabin if they can think of anything that would enhance their visit, and almost everyone comes up with a great suggestion, from a set of wine glasses to bean bags for the living room!
